Solemnization shoes

Quote of the day
Dear Mr. Louboutin,

I am writing to you in the hope that you will find it in your heart to help me have the wedding shoes of my dreams. Your beautiful satin, silk, lace and crystal shoes and bla bla bla are the shoes I've dreamt of owning.

Truly,
SF

Hahaha. Okay! What do you think?? A girl can dream, right? :P So pretty much most girls imagine what they are going to wear and have at their wedding. Regardless of the budget, finding a pair of statement shoes to complete the bridal look is a must. Whether you plan to go a little crazy with some huge flowers and some statement jewels, or maybe you are going trendy with zebra print, or just plain classy with a great pair of nude heels.

I've known for a long time what kind of shoes I wanted and these are the shoes I would LOVE to have as my wedding shoes or to own in general, without a doubt! I am so incredibly excited to wear them on the most special day of my life!!! Hope you enjoy the pictures.

Now, I'm drooling over the shoes on every site! And those are a few Louboutin (Pump) type of shoes in golden colour (my solemnization theme colour) .

Elegant
Sweet
Gorgeous

Simple

And I found this website --- here. The shoes also can be ordered. The founder was from Malaysia and made some custom-made shoes like below:

No brand but it's Louboutin!!
And laceeeee Louboutin pump shoes and sandals with a playful scrunch of ribbon or flower! I think Lace is vintage!

I luv it!!!
Classics
Nice
Floral

And lastly, statement like you wouldn’t believe. Here is to a few couture looks that you will probably won’t see everyday. Enjoy!

Solemnization attire

Hi dearies,

I was on pure boredom just now and stumbled upon a few dresses that caught my attention when I went googling the ideas of design for my solemnization dress. This is my solemnization lace. The cloth material was given by him as part of our engagement gifts (hantaran). My future sis-in-law bought the material when she was at Bandung.

The cloth material
Now, the problem is to find the design for my solemnization dress. Kebaya, kurung modern or what? I guess it would be greater in making me look taller. Or maybe it looks like as simple as kurung modern? I’m still clueless, until now I can’t really decide how my solemnization dress should look like. The more survey I did, the more I can’t decide. *Sigh

While hunting a design for my solemnization, I saved up a few pictures of dress that caught my eye and I noticed about the pattern. Most of the “nikah” attire that I saved was all rather similar with kurung modern inspiration with flowy bottom like below:

I love so much the simplicity of the dress when I'm looking on Pengantin Magazine (June Edition).

June Edition

Mostly, the bottom part (kain) is my favourite. And here are some pictures:

One thing that I'm sure of, I wanted kurung modern with zip for easy wearing, A-line pattern, a cheongsam collared and the cosry buttom with slim sleeves for my solemnization dress. Actually, I love the cosry buttons. And I think, I also wanted some beads for the buttom part (kain) because the material for the bottom part was a plain raw silk. Here are some of my favourite designs:

Yeah, at the moment I'm looking for a taylor or fashion designer for my solemnization attire. And, I basically do not know if my ideas as mentioned above work or not. I really need the superdiva bridezilla advise and also the bride-to-be advise at this time~

Choosing your perfect wedding dress

Okay, I did a media scanning last April, but I totally forgot about it. I found an article from NST on how to choose the perfect dress for your wedding, and I wanna share it here with you guys too ;) Here are seven questions.

Quote of the day

1. Picture yourself on the day
- how do you see yourself?
- do you have a set of idea of the look that you want to achieve?

As for myself, I'm thinking a golden yellow brown coloured for my solemnization dress, a white coloured wedding dress with a touch of dusty ivory for my reception, and silver white for groom's reception.

2. Know your body shape
- Choose a dress that flatters your shape.
- If you have a pear-shaped figure - wear A-line dress or ballgown shapes and avoid fish tail style skirts.

As for myself, I'm thinking of A-line but my body was not like a pear-shaped figure. Haha! Okay, mission on diet! >.<

3. Colour
- Find out what colour suits your skin tone

As for myself, I think all the colours will suit with my skin tone but definitely not the rainbow colours. Lulz. Most importantly, it shall be white because it will match for our wedding theme!

4. Dress for the right event

Of course, for the wedding day, right!

5. Set a budget
- Decide how much you want to spend, and look at the shop that fits your price range.

Ermm about the budget, still in progress. But not more than 3K? Hahaha. I wish! =.=" (Cheapskate okay!)

6. Look out for ideas

Start looking 9 months before the BIG day! (I will start some marathon ideas on June)

7. Think about the fabrics

As for myself, I'm thinking of solstis french lace but I don't mind for any fabrics. As long as I love the fabrics, it's not biggie.

That's all. See you later guys~

P dot S: Eeeeeeeeiiii, I've missed my fiance! Grrrrr~! >.< Today is our 5 years and 2 months anniversary

Wedding invitation cards

Hi bloggers! Happy sunday :)

Finding amazing package deals is the best way to take our easy steps when thinking about the wedding invitation cards. I understand that times are tough, but that does not mean I should have to forget about our life-long dreams of having that perfect wedding. In an effort to save my money for making my dreams will come true, I wish I could have this glamorous hardcover cards. :P I love the idea of using hardcover on the invitation cards where it creates such unique styles and great.

Hardcover card 1
Hardcover card 2
Hardcover card 3
Hardcover card 4
Or maybe something simple without the hardcover but with softcover that would still look gorgeous. Like the one below. Lulz. Both of us like to play the game, so that, why not if we create the wedding invitation cards like this. Haha xD It's simple and sweet!

Softcover card 1 (gamers, lulz)
Softcover card 2 (with pocket)
Let me tell you about a story and it's happened yesterday. I pretended in front of Abah and said, "Abah, how much of 1000IDR if convert to MYR??" Abah said "100000IDR is about 35MYR" *Sebenarnya saya dah tau Rp1000 = RM0.35*

Then, I've continued to tell to Abah about my mission again. I said, "Look at this cards, Abah (due to the picture). It's very cheaper right?? (Only 7000IDR with printed envelope). But they are located in Bandung" (Still on the mission :P) And, Abah said "Should we go to Bandung, then??" LOL (Actually, Abah knew my mission already, hahaha) * Bertuah punya anak kan saya ni?? Pandai betul bodeknya :P * Finally, mama and I, both were laughing. Haha!

But seriously guys, it's very cheaper if compared to Malaysia! And, I adore this wedding invitation cards. It looks like the cards will match with my wedding theme colours (gold, yellow, brown, white, ivory & silver)!! For me, I don't want to waste on my wedding invitation cards. I just want to make sure that the cards will match the wedding theme.

I want THIS!!!!

But, Ahhh, I still wish my dreams will come true. *Sigh ~

Wedding theme colours

Hello readers,

Every new day is getting busier than the other. I just wanted to share some thoughts here. It's about wedding theme colours. In my opinion, a unique theme provides easy ways to personalize our wedding day like nothing else.  We should discuss all aspects with each other in finding the perfect theme for our wedding. We have to figure out what we really want.  Whether our  theme is seasonal or revolves around color, we have put together a collection of wedding invitations, accessories and favors to pull our themed wedding together.

As referred by Michelle Mospens, here the colours most likely to trend in 2012.

Colour trends in 2012

I just loved the colours and immediately thought it would be a great starting point for our wedding. For our engagement theme, royal blue with gold colours were selected.

Engagement theme colours (Royal blue and gold)

Okay, now let's move on the topic. From our previous dicussions, we can see colour motif like gold, yellow and brown for our solemnization (akad nikah) in our colour palette and whatever shade of those three colours will do.  From bouquets and invitations to favors, everything can be bathed in the shimmering twinkling. I think, gold is always in vogue and adds elegance and sophistication to any decor. This is because we want a wedding filled with pomp and brilliance,  so that we go on the gold, yellow and brown!

Solemnization (akad nikah) theme colours (Gold, yellow, brown)

Then, we decided to go with purity white in bride's reception (my reception). To create a truly elegant and glamorous monochromatic theme, the other colours to consider are ivory. For me, white is an everlasting and considered as a symbol of purity colour for wedding  and ivory can also appear for a touch of sparkle.

Bride's reception theme colours (White and ivory)

For the groom's reception, he will be wearing something silver-ish.  I think, silver combined with neutral colours such white looks classy and sophisticated at a wedding. I hope the colour matches with the main theme colour of the reception.

Groom's reception theme colours (Silver and white)

The combination of colours for our solemnization, bride's reception and groom's reception are shown in the following below if all the decisions agreed by both side.

Combination of all theme colours

But I need to go through with him again and make our final decision. *Sigh. That's all for today~ ❤

Sf – Engagement day (30 April 2011)

Hi lovely hearts,

Alhamdulillah, I'm now officially become a fiance to Mohd Shahfizan on 30 April 2011. He came into my life unexpectedly and completely change it - for the better. I adore this man. He's my biggest supporter, my best friend and now, my FIANCE :)

I'm thankful for all that I had and for all the challenges I've faced, here and there since 5 years ago.  Because I believe that one day, I will look back and realize that they're all worth it. We may not be a perfect couple of the year, but we're very happy, and that is all that matters. I'm not going to ask for more :)

And to Mr. Fiance ;) Hope, everything is going well until our day! Just be strong. YoOShhhhhiii~

Okay, let me share some stories on our engagement day. To tell the truth, actually I had a mix feeling on that day. I felt like butterflies in my stomach, my feet was so cold and my fingers always crossed. And last words was dap dip dup. Lol. Is it a normal feeling guys?? :P

He arrived to my house with his families at 12.30 pm. He's wearing a blue kemeja and their mission on me started. Hahaha. Then, we took some pictures together and also between two families. Alhamdullilah, I think that our "majlis" was going successfully even though our "majlis" was a bit simple but most importantly, it was agreed by both family. And I definitely loveeee it! I also got some news from my future family-in-law that they're very very very happy! Ahhh, relief to hear that : )

Here are some lovely pictures on our engagement day.

Me!! Me!! Became a fiance~ :P
Sf vs Sf  Heeee~
Mama and Mak
I want to say this from the bottom of my heart, :')

" Mama, you are still the queen of my heart! Thank you for everything. To my future mother-in-law, Mak, I just want to thank you for being who you are, you've made everything so easy. As a mother-in-law, you’re a star! I ♥ both of you nonetheless - Sf "

And here is a video during our "majlis" and the other one is the video that I've uploaded for all the pictures taken during our engagement day. Enjoy watching!

Okay, hope everyone is super excited and blissful as I am today! x.o.x.o~ ❤
