2nd DIY??

Hi dearies,


Actually, my 1st and 3rd DIY projects were successfully done. But my 2nd DIY project still pending. Haha. If you still remember my previous entry, here, I already bought this heart shaped paper puncher. I think, my 2nd DIY project can be started now. I'm so amazed and can't wait to share it with you. Hahaha. Not as simple as it looks, because I need 2000 of hearts. Anyway, I wanted to put these hearts for decorating on my door gifts including a wedding sticker and minor ribbons. Wedding sticker still unfinished to design and will be ordered soon. Also, can't wait to update with you loves! ;)

Short entry!

Hello everyone,

Short entry tonight. 

Just two quick things to mention before I trundle off to bed. Too tired because I just got back from Petronas Gas, Kemaman. 

Firstly, I'm done making the maps for my solemnization and reception. Just need time to choose a vendor  :)

Secondly, I'll be in Miri for the site visit at Petronas Carigali. And at the same time, I will meet my fiance tomorrow. Just one word I want to say, "Yahoooooooooooooo" ;p

Hoooorayyy!! Finally, I'm successfully done attended pre-marriage course :) *Dah boleh kahwin kan? Kan dah ade lesen ;p

I felt that it was not such a bad idea after all. I found that this course was very interesting. It's also to help persons prepare for marriage, to work with couples and families so that they grow in life, joy and stability, to stand by couples and individuals when they are facing difficulties in their marriage. Alhamdulillah, I got all the points. What I learned on this course, there is no guarantee that the couple will have a successful marriage if they do not give any commitment to each other and to their marriage. 

Because marriage depends on their maturity and sense of responsibility, their ability to communicate with each other openly and sincerely, their faithfulness towards each other, their readiness to share their everyday life together, including their thoughts, feelings, chores, finances, rearing of their children, their willingness to make sacrifices, etc. *Macam ustaz dan ustazah cakap, berumahtangga adalah perkara yang paling mudah untuk bahagia hingga ke syurga. 

Now, I'm just waiting for the certificate :) Currently, I'm at home. I'm still continuing to sketch the maps for direction of my solemnization and reception by Auto Cad. *Tetiba rajin sangat malam ni. Might be tomorrow will be finished.

3rd DIY

Good day dearies,

Firstly, I wanted to say that I'm so happy because finally I found out my tray cloth (alas dulang) at SSF Puchong. If you still remember the entry that I've posted before (alas dulang tak cukup lagi dua). Well, I finally got everything situated and began my DIY projects yesterday. I just recently did my 3rd  DIY projects at my office. Lol. *Sebab keje tak banyak ;p Just wanna to share some of my hard work. Look at the pictures below :) 

I'm so happy and also discovered that it was hard work but ultimately rewarding. Seriously!!

It's not Year End Sale. Haha. But YES! I made it even though it is a trial and error. *Habis tudung Mama yang lama jadi sasaran. Hihihi.

I made three types of fabric flower included this type of flowers before. So, I've decided to make these flowers as my DIY project. *Yang ni kira jadikan la kan?? Sebab dah ada keyakinan yang tinggi nak buat. Haha :P These fabric flowers are my 2nd DIY project as referred by here. Thanks to Iz for sharing this website. Gotta to figure out the pretty pretty chiffon in light brown and yellow colours after one week of Hari Raya. Ohh, and the beads too~ ❤

Polca dot or dinosaur egg? xD

Hahaha. Actually, the title of this post made me laugh xD

I made this apam flavoured with orange filling and took the recipe from here. My apam polkadot turned out not as pretty as the Apam polkadot.com but I’m glad I made it.

Is it looks like dinosaur eggs guys?? Lol !! Hopefully, the apam is soft and delicious because my niece just love it. She said *Emmm sedapnya. Haha. Can't wait for breaking fast. Even it looks like dinosaur eggs, but I will definitely making it soon. Practice make perfect right?? *Sedapkan hati walaupun tak tau lagi rase macam mana :P

RAWR!!! It means I LOVE THIS APAM in dinosaur language. Hahaha xD. See you later loves ;)

Gubahan hantaran

In Malay culture, as in some other cultures, gifts are exchanged during engagement (bertunang) and marriage solemnization (nikah) ceremony. The gifts (hantaran) are usually decorated and fashioned into beautiful shapes. It is called as "gubahan". The number of gifts to be exchanged are agreed to before the ceremony, and traditionally odd numbers are chosen. For our engagement day, 5 vs 7 gifts were selected.

For him:

-Sirih junjung
-Sejadah
-Cupcakes
-Chocolates
-Perfume set
-Baju melayu, songket, baju melayu buttons
-Fruits

For her:

-Ring
-Shoes
-Perfume set
-Telekung, sejadah
-Kain baju lace

About "gubahan" for "hantaran", I wouldn't have engaged with the service of gubahan professional either a freelancer or someone working in the bridal industry. Because I've decorated my "hantaran" by myself : ) I just bought 7 round gold trays at Small Garden with lace tray cloth which is in brown gold colour (bought at SSF), some artificial flowers which is in blue colour and also the basket with ribbons. The tray looks like modern tray and very lightweight if compared to traditional tray that made of tembaga.
